LONG queues and heavy traffic are affecting roads in and around Bicester this morning.
The congestion is due to Bicester Heritage’s first ‘Sunday Scramble’ of the year being held in Buckingham Road.
Police have warned motorists of heavy congestion on all routes into the town.
Officers say they have spoken to event organisers in an attempt to get traffic moving as quickly as possible.
Please be aware of heavy congestion on all routes into #Bicester currently due to a large car event at #Bicesterheritage site. We have spoken to organisers and they are doing their best to get cars into the site as quickly as possible. #P6874 #P4245 #Oxoncshift pic.twitter.com/mzQDXdZR8O

Now in its fifth year, the Sunday Scrambles see thousands of classic car enthusiasts descend on to the former RAF base in Bicester three times a year.
