MOTORISTS in southern Oxfordshire can enjoy some free parking in district council car parks in the run up to Christmas.
The annual initiative by South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils aims to encourage people to shop locally.
Up to December 24, parking will be free in South and Vale car parks on the following days: Didcot - Mondays from December 3; Wantage – Fridays from November 30; Abingdon, Faringdon and Thame – Saturdays from December 1; Henley - Tuesdays from 4 December; Wallingford -Thursdays from December 6.
