RENOWNED illustrator Axel Scheffler is to visit Blackwell’s Westgate store for a book signing this month.
Mr Scheffler is the illustrator of some of the world’s best-loved picture books, including modern classics The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child, which together have sold over 17 million copies worldwide.
The signing will take place at the store on Tuesday, November 20, from 2pm to 3pm.
As well as his beloved Gruffalo drawings, Mr Scheffler’s artwork is exhibited internationally and he also designed the Royal Mail Christmas stamps in 2012.
