WITH Bonfire Night now behind us, the finishing touches are being put on a winter wonderland at Fairytale Farm, near Chipping Norton.

Owner Nick Laister, said he was excited about this year's festive offering, which will see an expansion from previous years and is set to include a Santa's grotto, Christmas lights and cookie decorating.

He said: "At our magical event, visitors can enter our brand new fairytale castle and take a journey to the North Pole.

"After getting our penguins to dance, you will walk though the Toymaker's Christmas cottage and then witness Santa's sleigh all ready for its Christmas journey into a starlit night.

"Then meet Santa himself in his cosy fairytale grotto, which evokes an atmosphere of a bygone age. Every child visiting our grotto will receive a present from Father Christmas."

He added the new walk-through castle is one of Fairytale Farm's biggest investments since it opened in 2013, saying: We wanted to make our Christmas event the best in the region. It really is a festive experience like no other."

Mr Laister "There isn't just the Grotto and new Castle to see when you visit the Farm this December.

"You can enjoy all the usual Fairytale Farm attractions and see our enchanting Christmas lights, which are bigger and better for 2018."
