TWO lorries and a car were involved in a crash on the A34, causing huge delays for the evening rush hour.
Queues were backed up in both directions with Highways England warning drivers of hour-long delays.
The crash has had a knock-on effect in the city centre during rush hour, with most of the major routes through Oxford jammed.
However, by 7.15pm on Monday evening, all lanes had reopened and delays were starting to ease.
One driver reporter it had taken him an hour to drive from St Giles to Frideswide Square at the height of the rush hour.
The crash happened shortly before 3pm and closed one lane heading northbound.
