RAIL passengers faced misery this morning with delays at Oxford and a broken down train causing issues at Didcot Parkway.
Great Western Railway announced its services between London and Oxford station were being affected by 'urgent repairs to the track'.

The 7.21am service was pushed back by an hour, as was the 9.06am Oxford to London train.
Passengers complained of a 'nightmare commute' into London from Oxford, with Lee Bellion stating it marked the third day of delays on the line.

Network Rail has confirmed the work has now been completed.
There were also delays at Didcot Parkway earlier this morning.

An update from National Rail stated: "A broken down train at Didcot Parkway is causing disruption to trains at this station."
It added trains may be delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised and a normal service would resume by 7.45am.
Last week, those travelling from Oxford railway station also faced delays with all lines blocked due to a signal fault.
The issue impacted morning commuters and was not cleared until around 10.30am.
