THESE are the two women police want to speak to after an elderly man had cash stolen from his jacket pocket in an Abingdon shop.
An elderly couple were watched in Santander in Bury Street, Abingdon on Tuesday at about 12.45pm.
The man withdrew money and was watched by two women. They followed him to Timpson, also in Bury Street.
At that shop, one of the women barged into the man and stole the cash from his jacket pocket. After that, the two women walked away.
PC Ollie Adams, based at Abingdon Police Station, said: “I am keen to speak to the two individuals in these CCTV images as I believe they may have information that is vital to this investigation.
“This is a particularly concerning incident where vulnerable victims in our community have been actively targeted and suffered financial loss as a result of this crime.
“If you recognise either of these women or have information about the incident please get in touch.”
