With the brighter days ahead and a spring in our step we have been busy planning our launch of the new-look Sew Very Vintage.

From Wednesday, February 28, we look forward to greeting our lovely customers, old and new, with the spring and summer range of vintage inspired clothing from Joe Browns to Lindy bop.

We will also, as always, have beautiful bags, shoes and accessories to finish off your outfit.

If, as the season approaches once again, you are planning a vintage wedding, afternoon tea or garden party we will be happy to help you put together an ensemble to impress your guests!

Or we can help you find the perfect bridesmaids dresses and accessories to compliment your colour scheme.

A new addition to our children’s wear range is the wonderful Frugi brand of organic, Fairtrade cotton clothing with vibrant colours and funky designs.

These sit beautifully with our existing popular Piccalilly and Chamomile baby brands.

Along with all the gorgeous clothing we still have our amazing range of craft kits and materials including hand-dyed threads and fibres from textile artist Stef Francis.

When visiting, you will be amazed at our range of handcrafted pieces displayed around the shop from textile art pieces, beautiful collage mirrors to needle felted animals, pebble pictures and Lego figure cuff links.

Blueberry Gin and Pink Prosecco are just two of the luscious new fragrances in our summer range of Stoneglow candles and reed diffusers.

With attractive packaging these make the perfect Mother’s Day gifts whilst providing a wonderful scent around the store.

If you’re wanting to get creative our craft workshops are booking up fast, you can learn needle felting, willow weaving or make a sculpture with our fabulous Powertex products.

Our next workshop will be a needle-felting class on our re-opening day where you can make a very cute needle-felted hare using pure merino wool and a barbed needle felting needle.

This workshop will run from 10am to 12.30am.

It is suitable for beginners and experienced needle felters and crafters and costs £20 to join, all materials supplied.

In preparation for the grand reopening on Wednesday the shop will be closed on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27.
