BANBURY MAGISTRATES’

PAUL CONNOR, 39, of Calthorpe Street, Banbury, admitted three counts of stealing a pedal cycle on November 25, between December 1 and 2 and December 7 at Banbury. He was jailed for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months and made subject to a community order to include a drug rehabilitation activity requirement for nine months and a rehabilitation activity requirement for 10 days. He must also pay compensation of £200.

STUART NICHOLSON, 41, of James Street, Oxford, admitted stealing a Ralph Lauren handbag from TK Maxx, Cowley, valued at £179.99 on January 16, and failing to comply with a community order imposed on June 6 by committing another offence. He was jailed for eight weeks suspended for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

REUBEN DEADMAN-PRITCHARD, 20, of Burswin Road, Carterton, admitted assaulting a man at Carterton and assaulting a police officer at Banbury police station on November 18. He was given a conditional discharge for six months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20.

RORY MCFARLANE, 23, of Marsh Road, Ambrosden, admitted assaulting a police officer at Horton General Hospital, Banbury, January 2 as well as failing to surrender into custody. He was given a conditional discharge of 12 months and must pay compensation of £150, a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.

JACK ALLEN, 24, of Middleton Cheney, Banbury, admitted failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver at Banbury on September 30. He was fined £120 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

THOMAS AMER, 54, of Meadow Way, Carterton, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver at Banbury between May 12 and June 9. He was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £150.

SIMON NEWTON, 50, of Coopers Gate, Banbury, admitted racially aggravated harassment to cause alarm or distress by using threatening or abusive words or behaviour against at Banbury on October 14. He was fined £500 and must pay compensation of £75, a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £85.

JOHN MCINTYRE, 33, of Padbury Drive, Banbury, admitted having in a possession a registered vehicle that did not meet insurance requirements at Oxford on May 3. He was fined £146 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £100.

CHARLIE RUSSELL, 22, of Ruskin Walk, Bicester, admitted possession of cannabis at Kebel Road, Bicester, on July 31 and possession of cocaine at Banbury police station on August 1. He was fined a total of £250 for the two offences and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

BESIM BITR, 27, of Kempson Crescent, Littlemore, admitted taking a vehicle without consent, driving a vehicle without insurance and driving a vehicle without a license in Dudgeon Drive, Oxford on January 2. Fined £60, compensation of £30. Six penalty points.

GARETH ANDREW KILBY, 49, of Abingdon Road, Oxford was convicted of assaulting a woman by beating her and causing criminal damage to a fridge door in Abingdon Road, Oxford on August 11. Conditionally discharged for 12 months, compensation of £100, victim surcharge of £20 and £100 costs.

ALEX MOORE, 18, of Orchard Way, Wantage admitted using threatening and abusive words or behaviour at Wantage Library on November 24. Fined £80, victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85.

OWEN REXTER, 20, of Cotman Close, Abingdon, was convicted of harassing a woman with texts and calls in Abingdon between July 22 and August 18 and causing criminal damage to a pane of glass belonging to Sovereign Housing Association between January, 21, 2017 and June 1 in Abingdon. Must attend building better relationships programme for 31 days. Restraining order made and must pay £50 compensation, £85 victim surcharge and £100 costs.

SIMON TALBOT, 28, of Liddell Road, Oxford admitted destroying a mobile phone belonging to a woman in London Road, Headington on December 23. Must attend drug rehabilitation for six months. £100 compensation.

SAID MAANE, 41, of The Grates, Oxford. admitted using threatening and abusive words or behaviour in Denny Gardens, Oxford on December 20. Conditionally discharged for 12 months. Victim surcharge of £20, costs of £50.

PUSHKIN SAWHNEY, 37, of Chillingworth Crescent, Headington admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Oxford on September 9. Restraining order made, fined £683, victim surcharge of £69 and costs of £620.

EDWARD HAYDEN WOODS, 18, of The Springs, Witney was convicted of driving on a road without insurance in Eastfield Road, Witney. Fined £300, victim surcharge of £30. Six penalty points.

CETIN CEBECI, 42, of Broadway, Didcot was convicted of failing to give information relating to a driver suspected of committing an offence between August 1 and August 29. Fined £660, victim surcharge of £66, costs of £85. Six penalty points.

STEPHEN KIRBY, 52, of Poppy Close, Ambrosden, was convicted of speeding at 41mph in a 30mph zone in Banbury Road, Oxford on May 29. Fined £440, victim surcharge of £44, costs of £85. Four penalty points.

ANDREW JAMES BEARDSLY, 45, of Newman Court, Oxford admitted assaulting a man and a woman by beating him at Newman Court, Oxford on December 20. Compensation of £75, costs of £50.
