Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
A4130 Didcot, 30 mph Speed Limit Date of Order: 7 September 2020 Coming into force: 14 September 2020 This Order replaces the existing Oxfordshire County Council (Didcot, B4493) (Temporary 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2019 introduced because of carriageway realignment work on the A4130 which is anticipated to be completed 17 June 2022. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles exceeding 30mph for a distance of 700 metres between Mendip Heights and Sir Frank Williams Avenue. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The existing 50mph limit covered by the Oxfordshire County Council (Didcot Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2018 is temporarily suspended for the duration of the works. The Oxfordshire County Council (Didcot, B4493) (Temporary 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2019 is revoked and this new order will remain in force until completion of the works. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - Section 14(1) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 7 September 2020 Coming into force: 14 September 2020 This Order is being introduced because of Tames Water maintenance works which is anticipated to take 7 weeks to be completed. The effect of the order is to temporarily prohibit through traffic using parts of the following roads on dates shown:

Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services, school buses, access to property and for the works. The alternative routes for traffic will be signed locally. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.
