Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Oxford, Various Streets Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Unloading Date of Order: 7 September 2020 Coming into force: 15 September 2020 This Order continues in force emergency Notices for public safety introduced for works under COVID-19 Regulations for social distancing and travel improvements. Cycle racks are being installed at the following locations:
1. Broad Street, outside Nos. 52 to 54, north side;

2. Catte Street, south of (near to) New College Lane, east side;

3. King Edward Street, south of (near to) High Street on the west side;

4. New Inn Hall Street, south of (near to) St Michael Street on the east side.

Works are anticipated to be completed 27 December 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit motor vehicles using in the cycle parking areas. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for purposes of the works. The relevant parts of the (The Oxfordshire County Council (Central Area, Oxford) (Controlled Parking Zone and Waiting Restrictions) Order 2011 (as amended) which provides for parking and loading in the Sections of Road will be temporarily suspended.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref. T8107/AC)_
