SIR, As a weekly user of the Oxford Road sports facilities, I have major concerns that the users’ interests are of secondary concern to the BSA. Your paper urges trust, but BSA resembles a self-perpetuating secret society.
Who elected the BSA committee to their roles? Do they have a constitution?
Why is the amount Tesco/ Bicester Village paid BSA for the land undisclosed, and is not a matter of public record?
Why don’t BSA publish accounts for public scrutiny?
Is the BSA committee paid for its services?
Do they charge expenses?
Who vets the expenses ?
What have BSA to hide?
These questions need to be answered before trust can be given.
