RUGBY UNION: In-form Mills leads Alchester's revival

Tom Miles scored a try, penalty and three conversions as Alchester battled back from 13-0 down to win 29-20 at Aylesbury.

It was their second successive victory and sees them climb to third in the Southern Counties North table Aylesbury led 6-0 thanks to two penalties from fly half James Woodfall, while Alch-ester had Charlie Surman sin-binned for handling in the ruck.

Wing Pete Kemp’s try, converted by Woodfall, made it 13-0.

But Alchester hit back when wing Andy Blacklock went over before the break, fly half Miles converting.

Flanker Adam Thompson bulldozed over from Black-lock’s pass, Miles converting.

A break from Joe McEneaney set up try No 3 for Miles, who added a penalty and converted a fourth try from Matt Flegg.

Miles was yellow-carded before Aylesbury’s Kriss Hardman returned from the sin-bin to score a try converted by Woodfall.
