CANADA international Dan Moor will line up for Oxford University in next week’s Varsity Match at Twickenham.

The 27-year-old, who has 14 Test appearances to his name, starts at outside centre as the Dark Blues take on Cambridge University in the annual fixture on Thursday, December 7.

Moor, who is studying for an MBA at Christ Church, is one of nine debutants named in the starting XV.

Ed David, Tom Stileman, captain Conor Kearns, Tom Kershaw, Kieran Ball and Will Wilson provide the Varsity Match experience as Oxford bid to bounce back from last year’s defeat which broke a six-year winning run.

Dom Waldouck, who won the Heineken Cup with Wasps in 2007, is named among the replacements.

On Saturday, Oxford were beaten 34-24 by Richmond in their final warm-up fixture.

The Dark Blues, who have won eight of their ten games this season, scored four tries in the defeat at Iffley Road.

Ed Elvin, Sam Moorby, David and Henry Martin crossed for Oxford, with Kearns kicking two conversions.

Meanwhile, the Dark Blues' women’s side has also been named.

Eight players from last year’s 3-0 victory over the Light Blues – which avenged a 52-0 defeat in 2015 - make up the squad of 23.

Oxford are in good form, sitting second in BUCS Premier South with four wins from six games.

They have another league fixture before the Varsity Match as they travel to Hartpury University on Wednesday.
