CJ OSAZUWA scored a hat-trick of tries as Chinnor bounced back with a 58-17 victory at home to Clifton.

Ian Clarke went over for the visitors early on, but the National League 2 South leaders responded through Kieran Goss’s try and from then on it was one-way traffic.

Osazuwa scored under the posts, before the hosts capitalised on Dave Wheeler’s yellow card.

Henry Lamont, Osazuwa and Danny Barnes all went over.

Bevon Armitage dotted down for another score and Bertie Hopkin, who added three conversions, kicked a penalty to make it 34-5.

Hopkin went over in the second half, before Clifton replied through Sam Harrison on 50 minutes.

But Chinnor hit back, with further tries from Callum Wilson, Steve Castle and a third for Osazuwa.

Hopkin converted twice.

Alfie To’oala crossed for a late Clifton try.

Henley Hawks ended a five-match winless run in a 30-22 victory over Worthing.

Two Jackson penalties and David Hyde’s try put Hawks 13-10 in front at half-time.

Worthing’s points came from the boot of Matthew McLean and Finlay Coxon-Smith’s try.

Henley’s Tom Parton and Worthing’s Coxon-Smith then crossed, before Alan Awcock’s drop goal and Jackson’s try made it 30-17 to the hosts.

Robert Smith’s try set up a tense finale, but Hawks held on despite having two players sin-binned.

Jackson kicked three conversions.
