RONNIE Booth scored a hat-trick as Didcot brushed aside Faringdon 31-11 in the BB&O Championship.

A dominant display from the visitors’ pack helped No 8 Booth take his personal tally to 14 tries for the season.

Their other scores came from captain Sam Lacy and Chris Freeman, who added three conversions.

Harwell lost 29-12 at Farnham Royal.

After falling behind to a converted try, Harwell drew level when Gavin Wilde went over, with Mike Phillips adding the extras.

Farnham edged ahead with a second try to lead 12-7 at half-time and their advantage was stretched after the restart.

Phillips kept them in the game with a try to make it 17-12, but two more scores from the home side gave saw them canter to victory.

Abingdon suffered only their third defeat of the Premier Division season as they went down 31-15 at home to Swindon College Old Boys.

Their points came via tries from No 8 Jamie Lochrie and Centre Luke Matthews, while full back Mark Roberts added a conversion and a penalty.

For the fourth time this season, Littlemore were unable to raise a side, with their scheduled opponents Gosford All Blacks given a walkover.
