Former Chipping Norton junior Henry Purdy continues to make waves in the professional game by agreeing a new deal at Aviva Premiership side Gloucester.
The 20-year-old, who hails from Milton-under-Wychwood, was part of the England U20s squad that won the Junior World Championship in the summer.
He joined the Cherry and Whites during the summer from Leicester Tigers.
Since making his first-team debut in September against Exeter Chiefs, Purdy has become a matchday squad regular, featuring either at centre or left wing.
Purdy had no hesitation in extending his contract.
“I am thrilled with the chances I have been given, and the faith that the coaches have shown in me,” he said.
“To be playing in the Gloucester first team has been amazing for me.
“I am really happy with my progress, but I also know that I have to keep putting in the hard work.”
