RUGBY UNION: Dudding's mixed feelings

HENLEY Hawks head coach Nigel Dudding found it hard to be positive, despite their big win over Taunton.

He said: “Whilst it has been a satisfactory afternoon on the scoreboard, it has not been in terms of the collateral damage that we have got.

“The squad has got to be big enough and strong enough to get through that.

“We’ll assess this week and see how it goes.”

Dudding added: “We had a slow start.

“We have been saying that we have had a number of games where we have been comfortable at half-time and then pulled in what were, in our view, mediocre performances in the second half.

“It started a bit similar again, but I am glad we finished the last 15 minutes strong and scored some good tries.”
