TWO tries from Ali Shipman helped Oxford University hammer Cambridge 32-4 in the Pcubed Rugby League Varsity Match at the Honorable Artillery Company, London.
Loose forward Shipman touched down twice in the second half as the Dark Blues took control to record their fourth successive victory.
Stand off Jack Baker raced through to open the scoring for Oxford on five minutes, with half back Jake Whittaker converting.
Wing Sam Roberts replied with a try for Cambridge, but scores from full back John Bremridge and second row Tom Cole, plus a Whittaker conversion made it 16-4 at half-time.
Shipman blasted over for his first try and ran in his second from long range.
Whittaker converted this and his own interception try to complete the scoring.
