Chinnor centre Sam Stoop gets the ball away under pressure against Dings Crusaders, but his side could not hold on for victory
JOE Winpenny was left frustrated by Chinnor’s failure to close out victory against a stubborn Dings Crusaders.
Chinnor’s captain said: “It was very, very disappointing. “Before the game, we said we only want to be beaten once at home.
“The way we lost was disappointing more than anything.”
Winpenny added: “We didn’t really take our opportunities as much as we could have done.
“We cut them open on a number of occasions, but our decision-making let us down.”
Winpenny added: “When they got into our 22, they really took their chances well.
“We scrambled and defended really well either side of half-time.
“Every time they had a chance, they took it and that was the difference between the sides.”
