Forster-Caskey joins Oxford United
3:09pm Friday 6th July 2012 in Oxford Utd
JAKE Forster-Caskey has completed a loan move to Oxford United from Championship club Brighton & Hove Albion.
The England Under 18 international's deal will keep him with the U's until at least January.
The midfielder, 18, made six appearances for Brighton last season, scoring twice and will link up with his new teammates for the first time on Monday.

Bringing in loan players makes sense financially, and quality wise too - as they are generally a higher standard of player than our full time lot - just a bit raw.
Too many loan players can disrupt the continuity however. I think we had too many loan strikers over the course of last season. But when the club's budget has reached its limit, and you need more players - the loan option is the only way to go.
Good luck this Forster chappy. The good thing is it is a long term loan, so it shouldn't be disruptive. If he does the bizz, then maybe Brighton will let us hang on to him till May....
