OXFORD United will be backed by a sold out away end at Bristol Rovers on Sunday.

The final few tickets were snapped up this morning, so about 1,250 supporters will be making the trip to the Memorial Stadium.

U's chairman Darryl Eales is expected to be among the fans on the terrace.

It is twice the 633 who travelled for the same fixture last season, a 1-0 win for the visitors, which was televised by Sky Sports.

United's average away attendances last season exceeded 1,000 and they have started strongly again.

The Rovers turnout comes after 1,155 made the midweek trip to St Andrew's for the 1-0 EFL Cup victory at Birmingham City.

Sunday's game is all ticket and no more will be made available to United.
