PATRICK Hoban has become the latest Oxford United player to undergo a scan after hurting his shoulder in last night's victory at Dagenham & Redbridge.
The 24-year-old fell awkwardly after a challenge with Clevid Dikamona during the second half of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy southern section quarter-final tie.
Hoban, who scored United's opener after just 30 seconds, came back on after receiving treatment, but head coach Michael Appleton said the striker was very sore when he arrived for training this morning.
Appleton said: "He went for a scan this morning and we will know more in the next 24 hours.
"He came in very sore and when he says he is sore he is likely to be because he has a very good pain threshold.
"We are hoping it is not serious damage and just an impact one."
