HOCKEY: Bicester hit Wycombe for six - again!

Bicester ladies completed their Trysports 3 Counties Premier 2 campaign in style as they completed the double over Wycombe with a 6-3 win.

The result, which saw them put six goals past the Buckinghamshire side for the second time this season, saw them seal second place.

They now have to wait to see whether results in the leagues above will allow them to join champions South Bucks in Premier 1.

Bicester, with Amy Ric-hardson playing her final game and Lilla Venning making her last appearance as captain, went in front after ten minutes.

Ruth Thomas charged towards goal and crossed for leading scorer Kath Crook to slot in at the far post, despite being floored by the keeper.

Richardson then doubled Bicester’s lead when she collected a rebound before lifting the ball over the keeper.

Thomas collected the ball near the D before rounding the keeper and firing home No 3 after the break.

Bicester bagged a fourth when Charlie Humphreys hit the ball across the goal where Venning tapped home.

Crook grabbed her second after she combined with Lisa Ryan following a short corner.

Venning completed her brace from Chloe Ranson’s pass.
