MEMBERS at Bicester Golf Club have got behind this year’s captains to raise money for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Men’s captain Michael Mikkelsen, Linda Ryder (ladies) and John Hoath (seniors) were thrilled that more than £10,000 was raised for the charity through a series of competitions and events.
Members braved the freezing temperatures of minus 4C on Sunday to play one last competition.
Staff from the Oxfordshire fund-raising branch of the charity attended the event and informed members that the money enabled two puppies to complete full training.
