BICESTER Ladies missed the chance to extend their lead in Trysports Three Counties League Division 1 when they lost 2-1 away to lowly Maidenhead 3rd.
After going close early on through Alison Haik and Lorraine Brickell, the visitors fell behind to a well-struck short corner.
In the second half, some questionable umpiring decisions frustrated Bicester, while the loss of Abbie Stevens to the sinbin piled on further misery.
Maidenhead doubled their lead with another short corner after a quick counter-attack.
The visitors grabbed a consolation goal when Beatrice Gunn pounced on a loose ball late in the game.
