IT is not often that Laura Watkins has to share top billing when Bicester GC stage their ladies club championship.

But she had to do so this year, despite landing her 13th straight itle by an amazing 14 shots – one more than in 2016.

Sharing the glory was Vicky Shepherd, who produced a brilliant hole in-one at the 12th hole on her way to winning the nett championship.

The ten-handicapper produced a two- round total of 166, to take the nett title on 146, one shot clear of Lyndsey Gower.

But in the overall championship, she had to settle for the runners-up spot behind the dominant Watkins.

The one-handicapper, helped by an eagle at the 17th hole, produced a two-round gross aggregate score of 152 to make it a lucky 13.

In a distant third spot was Carly Bosher, who had an eagle at the fourth in her score of 170.
