THREE members of Bicester Triathlon Club competed for Britain in the European Championships at Kitzbuhel,
Bob Gill, Steven Clark, and Simon Emmerson (pictured) all pulled on the GB kit to compete in at the Olympic distance – 1500m swim, 42km bike rider and a 10km run.
Gill finished eighth in his category with a time of 2hr 35mins, Steven Clark was 43rd in category with 2.28, and Simon Emmerson 60th in 2.33.
Meanwhile, Bicester triumphed in the Endure 24-Hour Relay at Wasing Park, Reading.
Seven triathletes completed 43 laps in 24 hours on the 8km course to secure first place in the men’s large team category.
