BICESTER’S under 10 girls and boys sides qualified for the regional finals when finishing runners-up at the County Tournament.
They came second in Group A after wins over Witney, Banbury and Thame, but a defeat against Wallingford.
A 2-0 victory over Oxford Hawks saw Bicester reach the final where they were edged out 1-0 by Wallingford.
Rosie Foote was their top-scorer with five goals.
Bicester’s under 10 boys team will also play in the regional finals after losing 2-1 to Oxford Hawks in the Oxfordshire final.
They advanced to the semi-final with victories over Oxford, Wallingford and Banbury.
Bicester then beat Wallingford again to reach the final, before Hawks edged to victory.
