BICESTER gave leaders Witney a real test before losing 2-1 to a late goal in Middlesex, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Division 1 of the South League.
Ben Moss put Witney ahead early on, but Dave Sutcliffe replied with a breakaway goal for Bicester.
It looked like being a draw, before Harry Swift scored a late winner for the hosts.
Other result: Witney 2nd 0, Bicester 2nd 1.
Bicester Under 10s won all five of their games at the Banbury Festival.
They scored 18 goals and conceded none, with victories over Oxford, Witney, Wallingford, Banbury and Oxford Hawks.
Their goals came from Isaac Findlay (10), George Birtles (5), George Mallam (2) and Flora McCullough.
