DAVE Sutcliffe scored a hat-trick as Bicester won 4-2 away to Oxford 3rd in Middlesex, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Division 1 of the Men’s South League.
A brace from Sutcliffe and a slick goal from Jonny Reid put Bicester 3-0 ahead in the first 15 minutes.
Oxford replied through Dan Geer and Oli Marshall.
But Sutcliffe put the game to bed when smashing home the winner.
Jan Southam helped herself to two goals as Bicester Ladies 2nd beat Henley 3rd 4-0 in Trysports Three Counties League Division 2.
Immy Thripland gave the visitors the lead, nutmegging the Henley goalkeeper from Ashleigh Foot’s cross.
Southam made it 2-0 with a reverse-stick shot and then swept home her second.
Maddie Smith smashed the ball home to complete the scoring.
In Division 5, Julie Giles scored twice to help Bicester 3rd secure a 3-0 home win over Oxford 6th.
After an even start, Paige Jorda set up Giles to give the hosts the lead.
Ten minutes later, Giles scored her second to make it 2-0 at the break.
And Jorda added a third in the second half as Bicester went second in the table after two games.
