Lottie Wynne-Jones kept up her brilliant form after landing a double victory as Bicester Blue Fins finished sixth in the opening meeting of the Milton Keynes & District Junior League in Uxbridge.

Against tough opposition, she won the age 12 50m butterfly by more than a second and a half in 29.71 secs and the 50m backstroke by more than three seconds in a club age group record time of 31.28.

Wynne-Jones then combined with Tia Falkner, Alexandra Pluckrose and Maddy Powell as they finished runners-up in the age 12 girls’ 4x25m freestyle and medley events.

To complete a good event for the Wynne-Jones family, Lottie’s brother, Harry, was second in the age ten 50m butterfly in 41.03 and age 11 50m backstroke in 39.67.

He was also third in the age ten 50m backstroke (40.38 secs).
