Bicester Riding Club celebrated their fifth anniversary by winning the reserve crown at the British clubs’ championship at Hartpury College in Gloucestershire.

The team of Madeline Orlando riding Indy, Emma Turner aboard Chico, Caroline Crampton on Vinnie, and Zoe Ball riding Grace, finished the 12 rounds in the second fastest time to take the reserve title.

The club was started in May 2010 and has quickly grown, now boasting a membership of around 150 members.

Chairman and founder Emma Richardson-Steele said: "For the past four years we have just enjoyed being part of the British Riding Clubs Organisation taking part in all disciplines, including dressage, show jumping, cross country and even dressage to music.

"However, it is only this year that we have really started enjoying success with both our show jumping teams and dressage teams qualifying for the national championships."

"Never in our wildest dreams did we think that we would end up at reserve champions at our first ever championship."
