Bicester's new captains Gerald Bauer and Arlene Nicholson at their drive-in
Bicester’s Central 7’s team got off to a flier for the new season beating Drayton 5 & half against 1 and half.
Duncan Currie shared the points, while Spencer Carter lost, but wins for Ian Cox, Richard Upton, Dave White, Ian Lovegrove and Will Harris sealed it.
They next face local rivals Buckingham Golf Club.
Meanwhile, Gerald Bauer and Arlene Nicholson (pictured) recorded a combined driving distance of 385 yards when they drove in as new club captains.
They raised more than £500 for their chosen charity this year which is the Kamran Ward (Haematology and Oncology) at the Oxford Children’s Hospital.
