Bicester middleweight professional Daza Usher got back to winning ways with a unanimous decision against Bris-tol’s Dan Sarkozi at the City Academy.

Usher used slick head movement to get in range and land punches on his taller opponent in a cagey opening round.

Both fighters were engaging on the inside and throwing spiteful combinations in the second round which ended with Usher sporting a cut above his right eye.

The body punching hat Usher used in the opening rounds was starting to take effect on Sarkozi in the third round and the Bicester fighter took full advantage, switching his attacks from body to head.

The highlight was a right uppercut from Usher which forced Sarkozi’s head back, followed by a sharp left hook.

Usher stepped up the pace in the fourth and final round, using fast combinations to the body and solid head shots as he won the contest 39-37 on the judges’ scorecards.
