Bicester's Tom Gould ma-de a promising debut at the Eynsham 10km on Sunday.
Gould crossed the line in 41mins 29secs as he finished in a creditable 129th place in his first attempt at a 10K, which saw him land county gold in the under 18 event which was held in conjunction with the main race.
Alchester’s Paul Swanton was 15th in 35mins 51.3secs with clubmate Andrew Stic-kley 20th (36.7.8).
Jennifer McBain (Alches-ter) was the third woman home (37.34.7).
