Records tumbled at the annual Bicester Blue Fins Club Championships last weekend.

Thirty-seven club or county records were broken over the weekend, which brought together 130 competitors of all ages.

Lottie Wynne-Jones, 11, broke a remarkable ten records from 11 events, including county records in the 200m and 400m individual medley, and the 200m butterfly.

Wynne-Jones’ times in the 100m individual medley and 200m butterfly also made her No 1 in those categories for her age group in the whole country.

Kieran Bird, 15, broke the Oxfordshire & North Bucks under 16 record in 1500m freestyle in an impressive time of 16mins 7secs, as well as club records in 200m individual medley and 400m freestyle.

Freddie Ashley-Sparks set six under 11 club age group marks, Tabitha Watkins set four under 12 girls’ records and there were also three age group standards for Harry Wynne-Jones, 8.

Fifteen-year-old Ellie Falkner set an overall club standard in the 800m freestyle and set new age group marks in three other events.

In addition, there were other age group achievements for Oliver Inness, Christopher Littleton, Matt Nolte, Maddy Powell and Georgia Usher.
