Bicester's Georgia Hodges was celebrating after completing the Men’s Health Survival of the Fittest 10k+ urban assault course in Edinburgh.
She crossed the finishing line, 18 days after her 16th birthday making her the youngest person to tackle the arduous challenge.
After attending events in London Battersea and Cardiff to watch family and friends in the past, she could not wait to have a go herself.
The gruelling 12k run included thousands of steps through the cobbled streets, a run up Calton Hill and then Arthur’s Seat, tackling various obstacles scattered along the route.
Hodges ran in aid of Dementia UK as her great grandmother has vascular dementia so set up a ‘just giving page’ with a target of £150. So far she has raised £631.49.
