Bicester’s Dave Babister secured a top-40 finish in the middle distance event at the Stowe Triathlon.
Babister finished 39th in 6hrs 24mins 54secs.
He completed the swim in 58mins 41secs, the cycle ride in 2.33.38secs and the run in 2.49.08.
Winner Pete Norris (Starley Bikes) clocked 4.49.08.
Babister’s clubmate Carol Mathews swum the Bournemouth Pier to Pier 2.24k event in 46mins 6secs.
