GOLF: Dream is finished
Bicester’s head professional Peter Thompson saw his dreams of making the Open at Hoylake ended for another year.
Thompson carded a disappointing 13-over-par 85 in the regional qualifier at Little Aston Golf Club near Birmingham.
It saw him take a share of 113th place.
