Bicester men’s 2nd slipped dangerously close to the MBBO Division 5 relegation zone after crashing to a 4-1 defeat at home to Eastcote 5th.
The hosts started strongly, but had only a strike on half-time from captain James Pilgrim – his tenth of the season – to show for their efforts.
And they paid the price after the break as Eastcote scored four unanswered goals, levelling within five minutes of the restart.
Bicester 3rd’s Division 9 promotion hopes suffered a dent as they drew 2-2 at home to third-placed West Hampstead.
Banbury started the brighter and went ahead.
But a slip from a visiting defender saw Trevor Joseph deflect Jason Crook’s shot into the far corner. Banbury restored their lead.
But a second-half strike from Andy Kaye earned Bicester a share of the spoils.
Bicester Ladies beat Maidenhead 3rd 6-2 in Trysport Three Counties League Premier 1.
After going a goal down inside ten minutes, Bicester led 3-1 at the break as Meg Scott, Ruth Thomas and Emma Gordon found the net.
Two more goals from Ella Weston and a second for Gordon wrapped it up, before Maidenhead added a late second.
Chelsea Cochrane and Sheryl Webb were on target for Bicester 2nd as they drew 2-2 at Milton Keynes in Division 2.
