Bicester Ladies went down 2-1 at home to Wycombe 2nd in Trysports Three Counties League Premier 1.

After dominating the first half, Bicester conceded a goal early in the second period and then went further behind.

Ruth Thomas reduced the arrears in the last ten minutes, but they could not find an equaliser.

Bicester men 2nd’s unbe-aten run ended in a 3-0 defeat at Division 5 league leaders Harrow.

The visitors went a goal down after only ten minutes.

Bicester had a chance to level when Josh Cookson’s pass found Justin Temple, who screwed his shot wide.

Harrow continued to dominate and finally killed off Bicester’s challenge with two goals in the last 15 minutes.

Bicester 3rd had a day to forget as they were hammered 4-1 at home by Maidenhead 5th in Division 9.

Trailing 2-0, Nick Styles cut the deficit after the break following a well-worked penalty corner routine.

But two quick goals sealed Bicester’s misery.
