Bicester Town have signed former England Schools defender Ben Elkington from FTL Futbol Hellenic League Premier Division rivals Hook Norton.
Elkington becomes the second Hooky Norton to sign for Town following the capture of Shaun Lambourne.
The duo are set to make their debuts in Tuesday's opener against Shrivenham, along with ex-Middle Barton striker John Umney, Nathan Hunt, Felipe Barcelos (Oxford City) and Astubal Barrasol (Abingdon United).
On Tuesday, goals from Ben Williams and triallist Karol Stowinski sealed a 2-1 win at Worcester & Bletchingdon.
Steve Garbutt (2) and JasonCostello were on target for Ardley United as they beat Southern League new boys North Leigh 3-1 on Tuesday.
New boss Kevin Brock has made a number of signings ex-Aylesbury keeper Lee Parrott, Murray Nicholls and Sam Ibrahim (both Banbury), ex-Oxford United reserve Adam Garner and Ricky Bridges.
Brock added: "We've had an intense pre-season, but the attitude of the players has been excellent."
They start their campaign at Hungerford.
Damon Chandler hit a brace as Launton Sports drew 2-2 at Premier Division Witney United.
They start their Division 1 East campaign at Penn & Tylers Green.
