ARDLEY United opened up an 11-point gap at the top of the table, when stretching their impressive winning start to nine games.
Goals from Conor Harris and Deon Gallacher saw the north Oxfordshire outfit beat Shrivenham 2-0 in Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 West.
A few days earlier, Ardley advanced to the second round of the Bluefin Sports Challenge Cup, when beating North Leigh United 5-2.
Gallacher (2), Gregory Hackett (2) and Troy Bryan were on target.
Ardley bid to make it ten league wins out of ten, when they travel to bottom side Tytherington Rocks, who have yet to pick up a point.
Bicester Town needed an injury-time winner to beat Henley Town 2-1 in Division 1 East.
Wayne Blossom’s opener for the Foxhunters was cancelled out by Ryan Szram.
But Jack Bailey fired home in the 92nd minute to earn Bicester the three points.
They are next in action on Saturday, when they host Holyport.
l LIAM Godin scored six goals as KEA routed Wroxton Sports 9-2 in the second round of the Banbury District & Lord Jersey FA’s Coronation Cup.
Danny Hatfield, Dan Hobbs and Ricki Bridges completed the scoring while Liam Meadowes and Ronan Halkett replied for Wroxton.
