THREE Bicester athletes ran away with individual awards after the final round of the Chiltern Cross Country League at Campbell Park in Milton Keynes.
In-form Ben West landed his second title this winter, having already won the Oxfordshire Cross Country Championships.
The Bicester star ran out a resounding winner of the under 17 Division 2 race, finishing second overall in the combined event with Division 1 competitors.
West, who remained unbeaten against his Division 2 counterparts, clinched the individual title in his first year in the age group.
He also helped Bicester finish third in the under 17 men’s team standings.
Clubmate Max Nicolle took third in the under 15 Division 2 rankings.
He finished 11th in the last round and although he was tied on the same number of points as another competitor, clinched bronze due to his better finishes throughout the season.
Tom Gould also finished third overall in the under 20 event, helping Bicester to second in the team standings.
Racing against the senior men, he left one of his best races until last, finishing 150th overall.
Elsewhere, Imogen Cox was a little below her best in finishing 36th in the under 11 girls race, while Amy Willis was 54th in the under 13 event.
In the boys, Freddie Taylor came 41st in the under 13 boys’, with Owen Stocker 49th in the under 11 equivalent.
