Ardley United made it back-toback victories in Uhlsport Hellenic League with a 2-1 success at Newbury on Saturday.

However, their joy didn’t last long as the hosts levelled two minutes later when Dave Parry fired in at the far post.
After Ricky Johnson had a shot blocked and Chris Jackson’s fierce shot was saved by Gee, Ardley retook the lead on 39 minutes.
Kieran Scott made space for himself before firing in from the edge of the box.
Ardley should have increased the lead with 15 minutes left.
Ingram broke clear, but his shot was deflected wide off the keeper.
Ardley saw out the remaining minutes with little difficulty.
Launton Sports’ troubles in the Oxfordshire Senior League continued with a 4-1 defeat at leaders Mansfield Road.
The result saw Launton stay second bottom of the Premier Division.

Charlton United Res’ search for their first Division 2 win of the season continued after they slipped to a 3-1 home loss to Horspath Res.
