Bletchingdon are still looking for their first Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division win of the season after losing 4-1 at home to Eynsham.

The result sees Bletchingdon still without a point.

Craig Hanlon had given the hosts hope after cancelling out Tom McCudden’s opener for Eynsham in Saturday’s clash.

However, McCudden’s second goal plus further strikes from Craig Johnson and Andrew Glossop won it for the visitors, who moved to third.

Strugglers Launton Sports were unable to prevent Oxford Univer-sity Press taking over at the top as they went down to a 3-0 away defeat.

The home side led at half-time, thanks to an own goal at a corner and two smart finishes after the break secured the points.

Neil Lockhart doubled the advantage when he lofted the ball into the top corner and Sam Wharton’s crisp strike completed the victory.

Bradley Newman’s brace helped Oakley United Res charge up to second in Division 2 with a 3-0 win at North Oxford Res.

Adam Pike was also on target for the visitors.

Charlton United Res slipped to a 3-1 defeat at home to Garsington.

Chris Staker levelled for the hosts following Connor Foley’s opener.

But Dan Watkinson restored Garsington’s lead and Charlton’s task was made tougher when an injury to their goalkeeper saw James McAdam don the gloves for the second half.

The right back was only beaten when Andrew Collier’s free-kick took a cruel deflection off Barry Reynolds.
