YOUTH FOOTBALL: Brittain in treble
Samuel Brittain hit a hat-trick as Highfield Juniors reversed last week’s Knock-out Cup defeat by Deddin-gton Town Sharks with a 5-2 home win in the Giles Sports Witney Youth Under 11 Green League.
Samuel Rearce, Jacob Chambers also netted for Highfield, with Tom Haynes and Lucas Luna replying.
Launton Boys’ winning streak in the Under 15 League came to an end as they went down to a 4-1 defeat against Banbury Irish.
Stuart Howlett, with a double, Loic Radegonde and Joe Squerelle were on target for Banbury.
Zarius Edwards-Giraud replied.
