CRICKET: Alam is the star for Nondies

Shabaz Alam returned the incredible figures of 7-6 as Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts cruised into the Bernard Tollett Oxfordshire Cup quarter-finals.

Alam’s haul, which came in just 3.2 overs, ensured Sandford St Martin were all out for 58.

Nondies them romped home by nine wickets to set up a home tie with Great & Little Tew at a date to be announced.
