Tom Gurney smashed a brilliant 93 as Westbury beat Minster Lovell by 93 runs in OCA League Division 1.

The top-scorer’s heroics helped Westbury post 204-8.

Then Tom Young (4-27) and Rupert Rowling (3-38) combined to dismiss visitors Minster for 111.

In Division 2, a superb spell of 6-19 from Matt Mead and 4-41 from Carl Needham set up Marsh Gibbon’s four-wicket win over Tetsworth.

Westbury 2nd went down to a 19-run defeat against Minster Lovell 2nd in Division 6.

Neil Spearman’s 53 led Minster to 173-8, and then Lyndsay Halliwell claimed 4-42 in Westbury’s 154 all out.

Chesterton bowed out of the Telegraph Cup after losing by 140 runs against Winslow Town on Sunday.

James Gaskins made 106 as Winslow reached 236, Paul Hammond capturing 4-37.

Chesterton were then rolled over for 96, Fenton Price taking 5-12.
